Accreditation & Licensing

  • Prior to planting Bayer technology, including TruFlex canola with Roundup Ready Technology and Roundup Ready canola, farmers must complete an accreditation course
    • The accreditation is an important part of Bayer’s stewardship program and is designed to provide farmers and advisers with the information they need to get the most from the TruFlex canola and Roundup Ready canola systems
    • Accreditation does not cost anything and there is also no obligation to plant a crop once the agreement has been signed.
  • Once accredited, farmers need to sign a License and Stewardship Agreement (LSA).

To find out more information about accreditation sessions, please consult our Events page, or Contact Us.

The Roundup Ready canola Technologies

In 2019, Bayer launched TruFlex canola, the second-generation glyphosate-tolerant weed control trait. TruFlex canola builds on the Roundup Ready canola trait, which farmers have known and trusted in the Australian market since 2008.

Both TruFlex canola and Roundup Ready canola provide farmers with superior in-crop weed control and excellent crop safety, helping farmers increase their yield potential.

Find out more about TruFlex canola and Roundup Ready canola, including how the systems can help improve your yield potential by visiting our Product pages.

Marketing Roundup Ready Technologies

Throughout the season it can be helpful for farmers and advisors to stay up to date with the canola market, both locally and globally, and with pricing information to help find the best price for their GM canola.

Lachstock and Bayer send a regular newsletter - the GM Canola Market Wire - with commentary on GM canola marketing options, market updates and pricing information. Visit our GM Canola Market Wire page to read the latest edition and to subscribe.

Another resource to help farmers view local grain pricing information, is the Grain Gauge App, allowing farmers to source the most competitive price for their grain. The App provides daily updates on the best prices on offer.

View the marketing options through our Marketing Your Canola page.
